Includes correspondence relating to scholarships, early release from National Service and admission to Balliol College; notes, correspondence and newspaper cuttings relating to university examinations (Moderations 1957, Greats 1959); university certificates, such as certificate of matriculation, 1955, and degree certificate Bachelor of Arts, 1960; Balliol College memorabilia, such as exercise book 'Freshmen's Essays Michaelmas 1955 Thomas F.R.G. Braun', societies' membership lists, letters and notes from college friends, verse in Greek 'ANTIΓΟNΗ', Oxford Union Society membership card.   3. Folder 3: 'Gratulationsbriefe' - letters of congratulation by family and friends on Thomas Braun's Bachelor of Arts degree, 1959, and appointment as tutor and fellow of Merton College, 1963.
