Collections of correspondence, autographed material and memorabilia relating to 'showbiz' celebrities and writers, compiled by Christopher Braun, mostly from the papers of Anneliese and Ruth Braun. Part A - Beach Boys, Beatles retained by Christopher Braun; Parts F - Monika Mann, G - Veronika Erdmann, and H - Ruth Tenney are extensive collections of correspondence and literary manuscripts and translations, and have been re-integrated with papers of Anneliese and Ruth Braun in section H.

  1. Folder 1: 'B - Marlene Dietrich'. Letter to Ruth Braun by Marlene Dietrich 1966; 7" vinyl record "This World is Ours/ Candles Glowing" with handwritten Christmas wishes by Marlene Dietrich, c. 1966; three theatre programmes for Marlene Dietrich shows 1966, 1975 and n.d.; typescript 'The Sun-Princess', short story by Ruth Braun? about 'Marlene'; Marlene Dietrich biography by Sheridan Morley, c. 1976.
  2. Folder 2: 'C - Franz Roehn'. Correspondence and memorabilia by, and relating to, the actor Franz Roehn (Franz Friedländer-Röhn). Includes correspondence with Anneliese Braun 1947-1966; a manuscript by Franz Roehn, 'Die Schöpfung der Welt', 1966; a folder containing translations of Ovid's Metamorphoses into German by Franz Roehn and 'Neun Meditationen des Cherubinischen Wandersmanns' based on aphorisms by Angelus Silesius; and some photographs of Franz Roehn and Alice Friedländer. Also includes letters from Alice Friedländer, Franz Roehn's mother, to Anneliese Braun 1946-1948, and background information on Franz Roehn compiled by Christopher Braun 2007.
  3. Folder 3: 'D - Gianni Marzocchi'. Autograph picture and autographed 7" record 'Piangere un po/Jessica'. Also includes a small collection of autograph cards: Suzanne Danko, Irena Skobzewa, Ruth Draper, Hertha Töpper, Michael Redgrave, Olivia de Havilland, unknown pianist.
  4. Folder 4: 'E - Hermann Sudermann'. Letters from the writer Hermann Sudermann and his wife Clara Sudermann née Lauckner, to Felix and Anna Lehmann, c. 1891-1918. Also includes a printed poem by Hermann Sudermann, 'Im Volksgarten', and a handwritten card, 'Neujahrswunsch'.
