Folder 1: Notes, articles and photographs relating to the history of the Boardman-Crane family, including photographs of portraits of Elijah Boardman, n.d., and Daniel Boardman, 1789, by Ralph Earl; newspaper cuttings, mainly relating to Josephine Boardman Crane (Mrs. Winthrop Murray Crane), 1908-1994. Also includes two photographs of Josephine Boardman-Crane, c. 1968, a copy of Josephine Boardman Crane's memoirs 'A Middle-West Child', privately printed 1971. [III, 3A, i; WIND 45]

Folder 2: Press cuttings, articles and photographs relating to the Crane estate, including the sale of parts of the Crane Collection 1994, the sale of the Louise Crane Collection at Christie's 1998, the sale of the Cranes' flat at 820 Fifth Avenue, New York, 1999; and to the Crane Family Papers.   4. Folder 4: Correspondence, mostly personal, of Josephine Boardman Crane with Edgar and Margaret Wind, 1955-1960. Includes a postcard signed by Monroe [Wheeler], Philippe and Pauline [de Rothschild] and Raymond Mortimer, 1959, and photocopies of correspondence with the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, 1959.
