Baluchistan, Pakistan, Jun-Sep 1952, 1961
Sub-Series
Nicholson undertook a major survey of bird population and ecology in the highlands of Baluchistan. The reason for his trip was to lead the Joint United Nations and Food and Agriculture Organisation Economic Development Survey Team but he found time for intensive ornithology as he travelled around the region. His survey eventually resulted in a paper given to the British Ornithologists' Union in 1961.
