Visit to East Africa on behalf of the International Biological Programme: Correspondence and notes, 1969
Nicholson undertook this trip in his capacity of Convener of Section CT (Conservation of Terrestrial Communities) of the IBP. The trip covered Tanzania and Kenya, principally Dar es Salaam, Nairobi and the Serengeti National Park (including the Serengeti Research Institute). Nicholson met some leading conservationists, including R. Leakey, and gave a lecture on IBP at University College Dar es Salaam.
