Biographical / Historical
In 1987 Roy Jenkins campaigned and was elected as Chancellor of the University of Oxford, a position he held until his death. The chancellorship involved regular ceremonial duties at the university degree ceremony (Encaenia) as well as a roving ambassadorial and fundraising role.
Arrangement
Arranged as found with an alphabetically organised chronological sequence and a miscellaneous sequence mainly relating to Encaenia (the annual Oxford honorary degree ceremony). Please note that there is Encaenia material in the alphabetical sequence as well.
