Written on two porcelain plaques (both broken into many pieces [lightly restored, July 1998]), contained in a red calf folding double frame, with a note, 'This Pocket Book … contains Jottings from which some of the incidents &c contained … [in Dep. Hughenden 26/2-3] have been elaborated', 1886.
