Item 2: c. 125 letters, mainly from Madrid, discussing Sackville-West marriage case, conversation with Empress Eugenie (May 1909), Talavera anniversary, Catalan insurrection, strife with Embassy chaplain, award of GCMG, travels in Spain, including to Valencia with King Alfonso and visits to Balmoral and Sandringham (Oct 1909), 9 Jan 1909-21 Dec 1909.
