Some of the photographs were used in the article 'A Flamingo Mystery Solved: Nesting Grounds of the Lesser Flamingo on an East African Soda Lake' ( Country Life, vol. 117, iss. 3027, 20 Jan 1955) and in the book The Mystery of the Flamingos (1959).
