Papers and correspondence relating to the legacy of Colonel A.J.C. Cunningham, 1930-1960

In his will Cunningham left 'one-twelfth part (of my residuary estate) for preparing new Mathematical Tables in the Theory of Numbers'. The sum involved was approximately £3,000. The correspondence discusses the interpretation of the terms of the will and the purposes to which the legacy should most usefully be put. The minutes and annual reports from 1930 onwards also refer to the bequest. Correspondents include:
