Mathematical notes and treatises by T. Lydyat:
- (fol. 24f) 'Duo Exercitia Mathematica. Circuli Dimensio Lydyatea, Archimedeaæ succenturiata et ...'
- (fols. 1, 11e, 34, 120, 137, 232) '... Mesolabum Geometricum.'
The first treatise is dated Sept. 27, 1633 (fol. 33), and William Haywood's 'imprimatur' Oct. 30, 1634 (fol. 17): the two combined Sept. 11, 1638 (fol. 24v), and the second, revised, June 18, 1641 (fols. 56, 68)
There are several drafts, some copies of the Mesolabum, which is defined as 'Demonstratio geometrica duarum mediarum continue proportionalium inter duas quascunque lineas rectas': some letters dedicatory also occur.
