Item 1: Map of Niger Territories, 1901. Proposed alternative routes of the railway and telegraph to Kano and Zaria have been drawn and coloured by hand, with notes on the several provinces and notes added by Lugard and endorsed "This map is very inaccurate". Heliozincographed at the Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton. Published by the Intelligence Division, War Office, No. 1390. 1:1,900,800. (linen-mounted paper)
Item 2: Northern and Southern Nigeria showing railways constructed up to June 1913. Originally compiled in the War Office in 1910, mainly from boundary commission surveys and material supplied by the local Intelligence Officers. Amended and printed at the Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton, 1913. 1:2,000,000. (paper)
