The papers in MSS. Lugard 64/1-5 were kept by Margery Perham in a large envelope file labelled "Kenya. Memos and special papers I, 1926-1928, (H Young)" and were to be used for the chapter dealing with the origins of the Hilton Young Commission in her proposed book on Kenya.
The papers in MSS. Lugard 64/7-9 were kept by Margery Perham in a large envelope file labelled "Kenya Memos and special papers II, 1928-30".
