Ella 16: (i) Telegram from Rubinstein to Ella (dated 18 Dec [? 1876]); (ii) Letter from Ella to Rubinstein, as printed in the Record of the Musical Union (1877); (iii) Photograph of Rubinstein and cutting from the Record of the Musical Union relating to Rubinstein (1876). All mounted on wood. On rear, 'Menu Intellectuel' for dinner in Ella's honour, 19 Dec 1876, Victoria Square; also press cutting relating to Rubinstein.
MS. Ella 17: Miscellaneous material relating to Charles Hallé, including extracts from autograph letters (dated 23 Feb 1852; 5 March 1852; 25 April 1853) from Hallé to Ella and a photograph of Halle; all mounted on card. On reverse, further letters (dated 1 March 1852; 22 April 1852; 1855) from Hallé to Ella, plus a cutting from the Record of the Musical Union containing the programme of Hanes debut concert at the Musical Union (15 May 1848).
MS. Ella 18: Photographs of Henselt, Alfred Jaell, Leschetizky and Nicolas Rubinstein [1877], all mounted on a wooden board. On reverse: (i) Press cuttings relating to N. Rubinstein, Henselt and Mayseder; (ii) Letter (dated 12 July 1864) from Leschetizky to Ella; (iii) A dinner invitation to Ella in an unknown hand, probably Jaell's.
MS. Ella 19: Photographs of, and cuttings (from the Record of the Musical Union) relating to, Lauterbach (1865), Carl Reinecke (1869) and Griltzmacher (1867), all mounted on card. Lauterbach's photograph is autographed; Reinecke's and Griitzmacher's photographs are autographed and inscribed to Ella.

MS. Ella 21: Photograph inscribed 'from your friend Gerald Fitzgerald 1875'.
