  1. (fols. 1-10) Op. 1, 10 unison and two-part songs, words by Christina Rossetti, printed in 1954. Nos. 1-5.
  2. (fols. 11-46) Op. 2. 'By Footpath and Stile', 6 poems by Hardy set for baritone and string quartet. Two of the printed copies, 1925, with professional manuscript copies of nos. I and III revised in 1941 and 1940.
