Fair copies of several songs for voice and piano, all with texts by Thomas Hardy. Partly autograph. Nos. 1-2 and 4-8 below were included in the posthumously published cycles I said to Love, op. 19a and Till earth outwears op. 19b respectively.

  1. 'Two lips' (1928);
  2. 'I need not go';
  3. 'The temporary the all';
  4. 'Let me enjoy the earth';
  5. 'Let me enjoy [the earth]'. Another copy, in a different hand;
  6. 'At a lunar eclipse';
  7. 'At a lunar eclipse'. Another copy, in the same hand as 5.
  8. 'I look into my glass.
