A collection of papers bearing on the councils and ecclesiastical history of Great Britain, being partly material for Dr. Wilkins's printed Concilia and partly supplementary to that work, Written in the 17th and early 18th cent. in England
Probably most of the volume belonged to Bishop Tanner, as did certainly fols. 55-7, 104-12, 119-76, 222-24. The papers are almost entirely copies of decrees of councils, injunctions, and formal documents. Fol. 71 appears to be in Sir William Dugdale's hand, and fol. 177 in Sir Henry Spelman's. There is a full catalogue of the contents in manuscript.
