Scores of instrumental and vocal works, not in chronological order, some unfinished. Much of the vocal music was crossed or torn out. These manuscripts appear on the 1682 list of the Music School Collection.

Physical Facet

2 volumes, viii + 114 and iv + 102 pages, respectively. Probably originally quired in twelves: at least one whole quire and parts of others were removed from the front and back of each volume, and other leaves are missing throughout. Leaves removed after copying were in MS. Mus. b. 2 after pp. 6, 36, 58, 42, 44, 100, 106. Watermark: Grapes, Heawood 2174; watermark of unruled quires, originally of 4, at beginning of each volume: Coat of arms, resembling Heawood 481. Uniformly ruled throughout, 12 staves to a page, divided into 7 bars. Calf binding with royal arms in gold, front and back, and blind filets enclosing gold filet. Initials 'W. L.' on MS. Mus. Sch. b. 2, 'H. L.' on MS. Mus. Sch. b. 3.
