Papers relating to the Dulwich Gallery of Pictures, collected by John Britton:
- (fol. 4) Some letters to J. Britton:--from L. B. Allen, 1813 (two: fols. 4, 7): from William Bray, Aug. 15, 1813 (fol. 15): from S. P. Denning, March 29, 1821 (fol. 17). At fol. 20 is a letter from Charles Druce, April 3, 1813.
- (fol. 26) 'Catalogue of the Dulwich Gallery of Pictures', a detailed account, with measurements.
- (fol. 48) A detailed 'List of Sir Francis Bourgeois Pictures' bequeathed to the Gallery, by J. Britton: a relation of his and mrs. Desenfans's bequest occupies fols. 112-8.
- (fol. 82) A historical account of the Picture Gallery, drawn up by J. Britton in Dec. 1813, for William Bray's History of Surrey: plans of the building are at fols. 22, 110, the former by sir John Soane.
- (fol. 119) 'Dulwich Gallery. Minutes of a conversation between L. B. Allen, Master of Dulwich Coll: and Sir Fran Bourgeois' in Dec. 1809, drawn up by the former shortly after the latter's death.
- (fols. 126, 130) Abstracts of the Wills of Margaret Desenfans, Apr. 19 and May 12, 1813, and of sir Peter Francis Bourgeois, Dec. 20, 1810.
