The Estate and House Committee was suspended for the duration of the War. Steps were put into motion to reconstitute the Committee from December 1946, and it first met again on 3 Apr 1947. It was suspended again for the years 1948 and 1949. It resumed meetings on 28 Feb 1950. It did not meet again after 4 Feb 1955.
