Commonplace book, containing mainly extracts from printed books, many on religious subjects, late 17th-18th cent. The headings, index and earliest entries are in the hand of Philip Henry; a few entries are by Matthew Henry, and later additions are in at least three 18th-cent. hands, including that of Hannah Lightbody, great great grand-daughter of Philip Henry.
