- (fols. 165-75, 295-293 rev.) observations on comets, 1664 and 1680, including copies of correspondence
- (fols. 312v-310 rev.) ciphers received by Henry Savage 'from a frier in France, who affirmed it to be Cardinall Richlieu's way of cifre'.
A note inside the lower cover reads 'This has evidently been in Edw. Burton's library. He was at Oriel in Hearne's time. T. F. F[enwick]'.
