Parts of three Letter-books or secretaries' copies of letters written by Sir Amias Paulet or Poulet, while keeper of Mary Queens of Scots, in 1585-1587, in three sections:
- (fol. 1) May 28-Aug. 19, 1585, and Jan. 15-16, 1585/6 (19 letters from Tutbury), imperfect at beginning;
- (fol. 18) Dec. 27, 1583, Nov. 7, 1585-May 25, 1586 (37 letters from Chartley), imperfect at beginning and end;
- (fol. 32) Nov. 1586-Feb. 2, 1586/7 (24 letters from Fotheringay), imperfect at beginning and end.
Forty-two of the letters are to Sir Francis Walsingham, and all the letters have been printed or made use of by the rev. John Morris in his Letter-books of Sir Amias Poulet (Lond. 1874).
