Correspondence and literary pieces of Charles Kirkpatrick Sharpe, esq. (d. 1851), Written in A.D. 1794-1844
Correspondence and literary pieces of Charles Kirkpatrick Sharpe, esq. (d. 1851), 1794-1844, consisting chiefly of some letters written by him, and many letters to him from intimate friends. Contains the undated letters and about thirty of his literary pieces, the latter almost all short, poetical and of a light character. The Oxford correspondence, 1798-1804, seems to be nearly complete. At fol. 50 is a copy of bp. Heber's Whippiad (1802), not in Sharpe's hand. Some formal papers, programmes, etc., chiefly printed, are at fol. 141.
