They have not been indexed and have been left in the order in which C. W. W. Greenidge filed them, i.e. MSS. Brit. Emp. s. 19 / D7 / 1 is filed alphabetically either according to the name of the sender, or the name of the body that he represented or according to the subject matter, whichever seemed most significant to the recipient; MSS. Brit. Emp. s. 19 / D7 / 2 is a miscellaneous collection of letters in bundles. For the contents of MSS. Brit. Emp. s. 19 / D7 / 3-14 see the list below. It has seemed necessary to date only those files where the date has some particular significance, e.g. MSS. Brit. Emp. s. 19 / D7 / 13 and MSS. Brit. Emp. s. 19 / D7 / 14.
