Minute books of the Committee on Slavery and of the British and Foreign Anti-Slavery Society covering the period from 1 January 1823 to 7 March 1935 (E2 / 1-17), followed by three volumes consisting of the minutes of the 1840 General Anti-Slavery Convention (E2 / 18) and "Memorials and Petitions" (E2 / 19-20). These last three volumes have been included in the same numbering since they are obviously closely connected with this general series of minute books. Any further minute books coming from the offices of the Anti-Slavery Society should be added to this group and numbered accordingly.
