- At fol. 8 is 'The force of Religion ... a poem by E (dward) Young, Fellow of All Souls College Oxon 1714.'
- Notes about Holt with arms of the landowners, lists of poor-rate payers, etc. in 1713, 1716, 1738, officers of the parish 1724-46, are at fols. 1, 20, 39v, 42-3, 47v, 49v
- At fol. 44 'The Shepherd's Contest, a Novel', a fable about Tetbury with key to the names, about 1710 (?), cf. fol. 40v and the mutilated deed which forms the binding
- On fol. 45 is a list of the members of Oriel college, Oxford, in residence in 1731-2
