Ecclesiastical papers, chiefly petitions and complaints to the archbishop, but including such diverse matters as:
- 'The names of seuerall sorts of Silke', 1630 (fol. 37, cf. 104);
- a letter from Robert Cecil (afterwards earl of Salisbury) on behalf of sir Henry Danvers (afterwards earl of Danby) about 1598 (fol. 45, cf. 51, 83, 85);
- 'Estat du Clergé, tant Seculier que Regulier, d'Angleterre en cette annee 1657' (fol. 77);
- several letters from William Somner, 1665-1666 (fol. 128, cf. MS. Add. C. 302, fol. 129), and Thomas Jeames, warden of All Souls, 1666 (fol. 146, cf. 97).
