Biographical / Historical
'Get Heard!' was a project of the Social Policy Task Force, composed of Oxfam's U.K. Poverty Programme, the U.K. Coalition Against Poverty, the European Anti-Poverty Network (England), the Poverty Alliance in Scotland, the Anti-Poverty Network Cymru in Wales and the Northern Ireland Anti-Poverty Network. The 18-month project was funded by the European Union, the Department for Work and Pensions and Oxfam.
The National Action Plan on Social Inclusion was a European Union initiative aiming to make a decisive impact on poverty by 2010.
