A collection of notes and extracts illustrating the manners of the Elizabethan period in England, formed by Malone for the purposes of his edition of Shakespeare. They are chiefly on small pieces of paper, numbered by Malone from 1 to 599, and are of considerable extent and interest, but arranged in chance order.
