A short parochial history of the Hundred of Hormer in Berkshire, omitting Abingdon: with a letter from Kyffin J. William Lenthall, Dec. 1, 1829, about Besilsleigh (fol. 1b), and one from the rev. W. Slatter, Feb. 13, 1830, about Cumnor (fol. 9b).

At the other end of the volume are short abstracts of some Berkshire fines and inquisitions, chiefly from Westminster chapter records.
