'An abstracted Account of the contents in an antient MS. in the possession of the Earl of Exeter', by Dr. J. Milles, written in the second half of the 18th cent. by J. Milles
The MS. is the Liber Niger of Peterborough Abbey, now MS. 60 in the collection of the Society of Antiquaries in London, to which the earl of Exeter presented it in 1778. The abstract gives some details, as well as titles, from the MS., fols. 1-19, 41-end are blank. This and MS. Top. Devon e. 8 are not certainly part of the Milles collection.
