Collections and papers of John Walker, chiefly biographical, on which was founded his Attempt towards ... an Account of the numbers and sufferings of the Clergy of the Church of England (see above: Lond. 1714, fol.). The arrangement is roughly in 'Centuries' of papers, as they reached Walker, and the majority of them are letters addressed to him or to his London agent, Robert Clavell, but many original papers and copies by Walker are interspersed.

Contains centuries 10, 1705-8, with (fol. 149) original papers especially concerning Devonshire, such as (fol. 332) papers of the rev. Martin Blake of Barnstaple, see also no. 10863, foll. 141, 165: (fol. 434) Minutes of the Exeter City Council, 21 Jan. 1650/1 23 Oct. 1660.
