'Incipit prefatio Titi Liuii in libris Antiquitatum ab Urbe condita', Written in two hands of about A.D. 1000
'Incipit prefatio Titi Liuii in libris Antiquitatum ab Urbe condita': after the preface 'Incipit textus eiusdem': bks. i-x. 22 ('id senectuti sue adminiculum f[ore]': but two leaves bearing viii. 38 ('Alii deinde') --ix. 2 ('expedire quosdam utilia') are wanting, and the lower outer corners of many leaves of the latter half of the volume are seriously damaged.
The text ends on fol. 179r and the verso is blank. The rubric at the end of book 5 (fol. 83v) is:'Titi Liuij Nichomachus. Dexterum [for Dexter u (ir) cl (arus)] emendauj ad exemplum paren [tis, added] mei Clementiani ab urbe condita [error for u. c.] Victorianus emendabam domnis Simmachis. Liber V explicit. Incipit liber VI.' The handwriting changes between fols. 73 and 74. Fol. 1 (cf. between 9 and 10) is a fragment of an (11th cent. ?) missal.
