Music book in which one developing English hand assisted by two or perhaps three others copied, amongst unascribed songs of the 1690s, five by Purcell (fols. 1-3, 9-12, 14-16, 30v-31 and 46v-54); two by Ralph Courteville (fols. 34-40v and 61-64) 'Io Victoria round my temples bind' by G. Finger (fols. 31v-33v), song from Don Quixote by Eccles (fols. 16v-20v), and a song by 'Lord Devonshire' (fol. 21v). Other composers represented include Henry Hall and Robert King.
