In the volume of Lodge's printed works is a transcript by Malone of the third part of Thomas Lodge's 'Answer to Stephen Gosson's Schoole of Abuse' (1580), from a copy sold in Topham Beauclerk's sale (1781), and afterwards in the possession of mr. Harris, Proprietor of Covent Garden Theatre: followed by extracts from Gosson's Playes Confuted, Lond. n.d.
