'Odd notes and drawings by Herbert Hurst ... relating to Oxford and district, collected by Cyril W. Hurst, 1913': Mr. C. W. Hurst has also supplied an index at fol. 3. The collection consists of rough notes and of some drawings and plans, approximately arranged in alphabetical order.
At fol. 27 is an inventory of the contents of Brasenose college muniment room, and a rubbing of the monumental inscription for William Staveley esqr and Alice his wife (A.D. 1498, 1500) in Bicester church has been inserted at fol. 154: a few printed pamphlets at fols. 159, 176.
