'Declarationes Sacri Concilii Tridentini cum suis Uecisionibus, pars ii'.

The volume has a coloured title-page, on which are the arms: azure, nine bezants, three three and three, within a bishop's hat, indicating that the volumes were written for some bishop of the families of Bodin, Des Bois or Froidmont (?).

Custodial History

The volume bears the armorial bookplate of 'The Honble Freddie North', who became earl of Guildford in 1817.

MSS. Mendham 19-26 are really a Collectio Declarationum Sacrae Congregationis Cardinalium Sacri Concilii Tridentini interpretum: et Resolutionum ejusdem Congregationis de Causis. Vols. 1-2, 3, 4-5, 6 are four series, each dealing with sessions 4-25 of the Council: the 7th and 8th deal chiefly with Causes of the 17th century, the latest date being 1658 (MS. Mendham 24, fol. 73).
