Drawings of shells from which the figures in Dr. Lister's Historia Conchyliorum (Lond. 1685) were engraved, written in about 1680 in England, by A. and S. Lister
Drawings of shells from which the figures in Dr. Lister's Historia Conchyliorum (Lond. 1685) were engraved, in all several hundreds, mounted on blue paper.
At fol. 108v is 'Original draughts by Mrs. Anne Lister' (cf. fol. 122v), but the printed edition states that some were by Susanna Lister, her daughter. They are finely done in India ink, a few tinted, and some with Latin descriptions by Dr. Lister.
