Printer's 'Copy' for the Pietas Oxoniensis , Written in A.D. 1902
Printer's 'Copy' for the Pietas Oxoniensis, in the handwriting of the Librarian, mr. F. Madan (fol. 55a) and others. Contains unused 'copy', consisting of 'Notices of the former [University] libraries, found in the University Registers' 1443-1555, by the rev. W. D. Macray (fol. 1), a draft copy of the royal warrant for letters patent to be issued to John Bodley, father of sir Thomas, allowing him to print Genevan bibles with notes (Jan. 1561?) for seven (?) years (fol. 7), and a few other papers and letters.
