'Publii Virgilij Maronis Eneydos liber primus [secundus, etc.] incipit' the Aeneid, with glosses and the monostich and decastich arguments. Short pieces on or connected with Virgil follow at fol. 166 (beg. 'Sus iuuenis', 'Nocte pluit', 'Meonium quisquis', 'Ergone supremis', epitaphs of the Twelve Wise Men, 'Si memini', 'Cedite Romani', 'Defensor patrie', 'Pelides ego sum', 'Ille ego qui quondam', 'Jamque adeo super unus eram' (Aen. ii), 'Virgilius magno quantum' (added later). At fol. 169 'Incipit Capra Aurea super Eneidos Virgilij' (beg. 'Diuitiis, ortu, specie'), this is the 'Ilias' of Simon Chèvre d'Or (Capra Aurea): the latter part is added in a 15th century hand, and is followed by the Moretum (fol. 176).

Much of the volume is palimpsest (see for instance fols. 56, 84, 90, 93, 107, 110, 119, 171), but the original writings are in general not much older than the subsequent.
