Bernard Gui, Arbor genealogiae regum Francorum , written in about A.D. 1400 in Italy
'... Arbor genealogie Regum Francorum', a short chronicle of the Frankish kings and their successors from Marchomirus and his son Pharamundus to Louis X, 1314. The body of the text is Italian writing, but the rubricated pedigree is in a French hand. There is a good deal of later Italian scribbling and drawing, and, on fol. 17, 16th century Italian notes of some French families at Florence.
The volume was transcribed for card. Pietro Corsini (of Florence, 1370-1405), whose arms are on fol. 3.
