Two MSS.:
A. Fol. 3. A conference between a scholar, a gentleman and a Lawyer, on public affairs, chiefly an attack on the earl of Leicester, dedicated to G. M. 'in Gratious Streete in London', dated 1584: beg. 'Not longe before Christmas last.'.
B:
- Fol. 72v. 'A treatise of the succession of the Crowne of Englande :' beg. 'The Contro-versie betweene the houses :' at end, 'Taken out of a book of D. R. and written the 4th day of November, 1599.'
- Fol. 82. 'A declaracion of the succession of the Crowne Imperiall of Englande, made by J[ohn] Halles, briefed by A. G.', sometimes attributed to sir Nicholas Bacon, and answered by sir Antony Browne (d. 1567): beg. 'In soe waightie a matter I neede vse:' at end 'Taken out of a booke of D. R. and written the 6th of November 1599.'
