Edmund Campion's History of Ireland and 'Chronica Regum Anglie per Thomam Otterbourne.', Written (A) early in the 17th century, and (B) about A.D. 1640-1650 (?)
A. Fol. 3. Edmund Campion's History of Ireland, in English, made in A.D. 1571, the particular transcript from which sir James Ware printed the work in 1633 in his Two Histories of Ireland. More than one scribe seem to have been employed.
B. Fol. 103. 'Chronica Regum Anglie per Thomam Otterbourne.' Though Hearne in his edition of Otterbourne (Oxon. 1732) nowhere alludes to this MS., yet he seems to quote its readings as those of 'F', and does mention that bp. Fell had a transcript made for himself, which seems to be this very volume.
