  3. At the end come miscellaneous notes, including 'Shakespeare's Story of the Caskets, its earliest known [Greek] form' (fol. 108), Gower's 'Balade moral of gode counseyle' transcribed from MS. Ashmole 59 (fol. 110)
  4. A note by E. W. B. Nicholson on the need of a new edition of Gower (fol. 122), etc.
