There is also a passage from a French poem [by Jean Mallart] entitled 'Chemin de Paradis' probably from MS. Bodl. 883, beg. 'De l'aultre peine au feu et des tormens' (p. 83), and the note '"Cest livre est à moy Homfrey duc de Gloucestre le quel je fis translater de Grec en Latyn par un des mes secretaires Antoyne de Beccara né de Verone" in fine MS. Athanasii contra gentes, codex ille servatur apud magistrum Fowler parochianum de Hampton prope Cicestr' now Royal MS. 5 F. ii in the British Museum, followed by further notes from theological treatises and from the register of Reading abbey (p. 93).
