A life by Richard James of st. Thomas à Becket entitled 'De canonizatione Thome Cantuariensis et suorum', beg. 'Ad lectorem: Amice lector rogatus sum saepius' (p. xv), and 'Viam regiam mihi patefacit' (p. 1). There are appendixes and notes (p. 632) followed by an analytical index at p. 773 by Thomas Greaves, whose further MS. notes are on pp. iii-v.
