A long series of letters from lady Charlotte Maria Bury (née Campbell) to miss Pigott, written in 1838-1840
Chiefly relating to the publication of the Records of Real Life, the ways of publishers and the writer's poverty, 1838-40. A few are from her daughter Blanche, 1840 (fols. 21, 69, 88).
At fol. 93 begin some miscellaneous papers and letters chiefly from lady Elizabeth H. Cole, 1838, etc., including puffs by lady Charlotte Bury of miss Pigott's works.
