'Hoccleue de regimine principum', Written late in the 15th century in England
'Hoccleue de regimine principum', beg. 'Mvsinge upon the restles bissinesse, which this troubly world hath ay in hond', and containing 763 out of 780 stanzas (according to the version printed from Royal MS. 17D vi in the British Museum by Thomas Wright for the Roxburghe Club, 1860), and three additional stanzas.
On the fly-leaves are a few brief weather notes in a hand of about 1600.
