P. 1. An account of the nobility of England from the conquest to temp. Elizabeth, arranged chronologically under reigns, with coloured sketches of arms and an index thereof at p. v, followed by (p. 130 rev.) 'Modus tenendi curiam baronis cum leta', beg. 'Fyrst there shalbe a precept made by the steward of the court'; and (p. 155) notes of forms for final concords, in a legal hand of the mid-16th cent.

Custodial History

P. 159 rev. 'Hunc ego Dugdaillus presentem vendico librum, Nomine Gullielmus cui sacra Lympha dedit, in anno domino 1577.' This is the William Dugdale who was steward to Sir William Cordell.
